Abstract:The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Fatigue Working Group was established in 2017 to formalize communication across types of operations with consideration of stakeholder concerns and priorities related to fatigue research. This report documents the findings from working group from 2018-2021, including fatigue-related research priorities from FAA, industry, and labor stakeholders. Findings from this working group include a number of cross-cutting fatigue-related issues that were identified by multiple operational subgroups, and document how research priorities shifted from 2018-2021. This report identifies a number of fatigue-related issues that future research could pursue and highlights current fatigue-related concerns across aviation operations.
