This report reviews before and after crash data for nine alternative intersections located in four States along with comparison crash data for an additional two alternative intersections and one conventional two-way, stop-control intersection. Though the geometry and operations vary, each of the alternative intersections is characterized by redirecting the left-turn maneuver with a goal of enhancing operations without compromising safety.
