• Abstract:
  The European-based “HERMES” project aims to enhance collaboration between researchers in transportation around the world. Dr. George Kotsikos with the School of Mechanical and Systems Engineering at Newcastle University provides an overview of the HERMES project. The project was created in response to the European Commission’s call for providing international cooperative transportation research and encouraging sharing of research results. Core activities for the HERMES project are development of the Transport Research Portal and engaging researchers by creating conditions for closer international collaboration.
