Abstract:

Transportation Governance and Finance: A 50-State Review of State Legislatures and Departments of Transportation was released in November 2016, and is intended to serve as a comprehensive, up-to-date reference tool for state governments, as well as for other interested stakeholders, about how all 50 states and the District of Columbia govern and pay for their transportation systems. Jennifer Brickett and Jaime Rall discuss the creation of the report, describe the types of information found in the report, and look in-depth at one state’s profile. After the session, librarians, information professionals, and readers of the report will be able to more quickly locate the information from the report they are seeking.
