Abstract:

This Transportation Librarians Roundtable was developed out of community interest in the Transportation Research Circular E-C194. Rachel Cole and Roberto Sarmiento with the Northwestern University Transportation Library discuss how they’ve used a LibGuide to promote the circular and what they’ve learned about it in the process. The circular, titled “Literature Searches and Literature Reviews for Transportation Research Projects”, describes where and how to search for transportation information. Cole and Sarmiento use the circular as a learning and reference tool for students to use after library instruction sessions.
