  Highway construction sites are one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. Research Librarian Hong Yu with the Texas A&M Transportation Institute shares the mission of the National Work Zone Safety Information Clearinghouse: “To provide the transportation construction industry and the general public with comprehensive information to improve motorist, worker, and pedestrian safety in roadway work zones.” Yu provides an overview of the Clearinghouse’s history and funding; how the Clearinghouse website evolved; usage worldwide and customer feedback; and resources available in the Clearinghouse.
