Jennifer Klang, Head of Reference Services at the Department of the Interior Library, presents this edition of the Transportation Librarians Roundtable. Visible web content includes web pages that search engines can crawl and index. Invisible web content includes databases, password-protected websites, public records on government sites, intranets, message boards, website archives, forums, and online library catalogs. Klang shares search strategies and resources for uncovering invisible web content that doesn’t get indexed or queried by search engines.
