  As an embedded and solo librarian for MED-EL, Weinberger shares background information about corporate libraries in D-A-CH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) countries. Weinberger describes embedded librarianship as taking a step outside the context of traditional library settings and traditional library services. Embedded librarians can be service providers and also form partnerships with their clients. Weinberger recommends being realistic about the needs of your clients and where the information professional fits into the organization.
