Abstract:

The 2021 edition of the Transportation Librarians Roundtable Annual Open Forum Community Discussion was moderated by Bob Cullen and Samantha Strain. Participants discussed the Transportation Research Board’s annual meeting, held virtually for the first time in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This session also covered how work/life balance has been impacted as more people worked from home during the pandemic and different organizations’ plans for returning to in-person work. The conversation included perspectives on digital versus physical collections and turning the pandemic into an opportunity to increase digitization of library materials.
