Abstract:Ben Alexander, Chairman of the Air Traffic Control Advisory Committee and Chairman and Technical Director of the General Research Corporation, provides a statement before the House of Representatives, Committee on Science and Astronautics, Subcommittee on Advanced Research and Technology, on September 26, 1968, in Room 2325 of the Rayburn House Office Building. The Department of Transportation Secretary Boyd wrote, "The principal objective of the Committee is to define the requirements for, and propose an air traffic control system adequate for the 1980s and beyond."
