Abstract:

This Transportation Librarians Roundtable presents an outline of various working styles and the categories for each that are part of the Michigan Model of Leadership developed at the University of Michigan. The four categories of work styles are Red (building strategic structures), Blue (driving robust results), Yellow (fostering a collaborative community), and Green (enabling creative change). Twenty-two respondents participated in a self-assessment prior to the presentation. Bob Cullen shares the results of the self-assessment and opened the topic of work styles among librarians for discussion.
