This advisory circular establishes an acceptable means, but not the only means, of obtaining airworthiness approval of an Omega/Very Low Frequency (VLF) navigation system for use under VFR (visual flight rules) and IFR (instrument flight rules) within the conterminous United States, Alaska, and surrounding United States waters.
