Abstract:

To assist airport operators in complying with Part 139, Certification and Operations: Land Airports Serving CAB-Certificated Air Carriers, and Part 152, Airport Aid Program, of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), this advisory circular (AC) sets forth guidelines concerning the operational safety on airports during construction. For noncertificated airports and airports with no grant agreements, applicationof these provisions will help maintain the desired level of operational safety during periods of construction.
