Abstract:This circular provides technical guidance for local planners, other government agencies, and operators in calculating the acoustic environment near new heliports. It is intended to provide assistance in preliminary evaluation of the noise compatibility of sites for heliports where none exists. It is not intended for the evaluation of existing heliports or those areas where noise is not an issue.
