Abstract:

This circular outlines suggested training programs for airport fire fighting and rescue personnel. A showing by an applicant for an airport operating certificate that airport fire fighting and rescue personnel have satisfactorily completed appropriate portions of these training programs is an acceptable means, but not the only means, of showing compliance with Section 139.49(1) of Part 139 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR).
