Abstract:

One of the recommendations from the 2017 report “The 2017 Hurricane Season: Recommendations for a Resilient Path Forward for the Marine Transportation System” was to review subsequent hurricane seasons to understand challenges, successes, and adaptations. This report is a follow up to the 2017 hurricane seasons report by comparing the challenges, success, and response of the 2018-2019 hurricane seasons.
