• Abstract:
  This report fulfills the requirement for a yearly status report under Section 3(b) of EO 13860, in which the U.S. Committee on the Marine Transportation System (CMTS) is directed to: pursue innovative ways to support merchant mariner credentialing, including through continuation of the Military to Mariner Initiative as appropriate, and shall provide a yearly status report on its efforts under the provisions of this order to the President through the White House Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy. In addition to a report of the many activities implemented by agencies to support the veteran sea service personnel to credentialed merchant mariner, the report provides an inventory of the federal role by agency.
