Abstract:

The UW ITS4US Transportation Data Equity Initiative (TDEI) project is designed to improve mobility data infrastructure so all travelers can discover and make informed mobility decisions, and avoid friction caused by lack of data in their trips. The TEDI also will make data handling simpler for mobility service providers through enabling providers to use public data about services and travel environments and by consolidating and making mobility data consistent.

This Participant Training and Stakeholder Education plan describes the participant groups, their training needs, and plans for recruitment, selection, and training of those participants. We address all participants engaged in or associated with the deployment. Participant roles, responsibilities, training needs, training objectives and plans for assessment of training are all included in this document. The UW TDEI team is dedicating significant effort to building the capacity of stakeholders (data producers, consumers, app developers and information consumers at the application level) through training and education. The TDEI project is committed to acknowledging the importance of diversity and equity in transportation through strategic relationship building activities.
