Modern game simulation technology can put people in the driver's seat virtually, so they can safely experience accidents such as skids and rollovers and walk through various hazardous scenarios to understand and visualize the physical forces involved in accident scenarios. This project's goal is to provide a single, integrated hardware/software platform capable of training operators of off road vehicles such as all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). Because the people that would benefit most from this training, outdoor-oriented young people, are the least likely to seek it out, we "gamified" the training experience by building an attractive outdoor world and putting interesting challenges in it.
