Abstract:

This manual provides analysis approaches to be used with the FHWA Culvert Analysis Microcomputer Program HY8. HY8 is a BASIC program written for the IBM-PC with MS-DOS. Culvert analysis approaches are demonstrated with examples that provides instruction in data entry, file modification and culvert performance analysis. The examples illustrate the design of the following: - Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert, - Irregular Culvert Cross Section, - Multiple Independent Barrels
