Abstract:This annual edition of the Large Truck Crash Profile contains descriptive statistics about fatal and non-fatal (injury and property-damage-only) large truck crashes that occurred in 1998. The profile includes only some of the major aspects of truck crashes and some comparable data on passenger vehicle crashes. Additional crash data for trucks, truck drivers, and motor carriers can be obtained from the Analysis Division, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
