• Abstract:
  This annual directory contains descriptions of current research, development, and demonstration (RD&D) projects sponsored and funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation's Urban Mass Transportation Administration (UMTA). One of UMTA's major objectives is to make public information regarding its RD&D activities readily available, and this publication is one of the principal vehicles for reporting such information. This directory focuses on activity that took place in fiscal year 1980, which began on October 1, 1979 and ended September 30, 1980. All of the projects described in this volume are funded under Sections 6, 8, or 11 of the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964, as amended.
