This report contains color, luminance and retroreflectivity data of Master Builders Lumimark Safety Traffic Marking System. This report details a demonstration installation of the product in Wisconsin on SH 59 in Transportation District 2, Waukesha County. The product is a cementitious pavement marking material with integral color and glass beads that is applied in conjunction with portland cement concrete pavements. A groove is milled into the pavement and the product is placed into the groove. The findings were that the Lumimark System had good performance in retroreflectivity and white color readings but was low in luminance and yellow color readings. The cost of the project installed was higher than an epoxy paint installed at 3 year intervals over 30 years using Present Worth economic analysis. Installation equipment was not adequate for long line installation applications.
