This brochure presents facts and data as an aid in helping people decide if they want to drive flexible fuel vehicles. Eighty-five percent ethanol (E85) Flexible Fuel Vehicles (FFVs) are designed to run on a mixture of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. They will also run on unleaded gasoline alone, or any mixture of gasoline and ethanol, up to 85%. These vehicles (cars, trucks, vans, etc.) look and drive just like "gasoline only" vehicles, but provide the driver with the ability to use E85 fuel. The brochure presents information, much of which is in a question and answer format, relates facts about the fuels, their effect on the environment, and their effect on the economy. It discusses cost, how to convert vehicles to E85 vehicles, where to purchase fuel, warranties, fuel economy, the safety of ethanol, and the effects of ethanol on ozone pollution and global warming.
