Abstract:

An ET-2000 Extruder Guardrail End Terminal (GET) was installed in September 1993 along a sate highway in southern Oregon. The ET-2000 GET was installed to reduce the severity of injuries during accidents and to reduce the amount of land (right-of-way) required for the guardrail. The ET-2000 GET was installed as planned - there were no major problems during construction.
