The Annual Report of the Urban Mobility Study provides some information about congestion and mobility issues in ways that everyone can understand. This report focuses on the trends from 1982 to 2000 and analyzes issues that the motoring public, transportation officials, and policy makers often raise regarding traffic congestion and urban mobility in a way that is useful to these different "information markets." The 2002 Urban Mobility Report provides data on the performance of some elements of the transportation system in 75 urban areas through research performed in cooperation with the following organizations: California Department of Transportation; Colorado Department of Transportation; Florida Department of Transportation; Kentucky Transportation Cabinet; Maryland State Highway Administration; Minnesota Department of Transportation; New York State Department of Transportation; Oregon Department of Transportation; Texas Department of Transportation; Virginia Department of Transportation.
