This advisory circular (AC) sets forth an acceptable means, but not the only means, for developing and evaluating a 14 Code of Federal Regulations (14CFR) Special Federal Aviation Regulation (SFAR)36 engineering procedures manual. As such, the terms "shall" and "must" used in this advisory circular pertain to an applicant who chooses to follow the method presented.
