This report responds to a complaint received by the Office of Inspector General (OIG), Department of Transportation, concerning unsatisfactory program coordination and budget control activities between the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Office of Environment and Energy, Facility Environment and Safety Division (AEE) and the National Airspace System (NAS) Transition and Implementation Office, Engineering and Environmental Safety Division (ANS).
