Abstract:

On February 13, 1996, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Orlando

Airports District Office requested the Office of Inspector General to make an audit of airport revenue at the Dade County Aviation Department. The audit objective was to determine whether Dade County's airport-generated revenues were used only for operating and capital costs of its airports, in compliance with 49 United States Code, Section 47107 (the Airport and Airway Improvement Act of 1982, as amended).
