Abstract:

Audit objectives were to determine whether the city of Big Spring, Texas

(city), was in compliance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airport

Improvement Program grant assurances to ensure (i) fee and rental structures were maintained which make the McMahon-Wrinkle Airpark (airport) as self-sustaining as possible, and (ii) airport revenues were used for the operating and capital cost of the airport. This audit was requested by the Manager, Airports Division FAA, Southwest Region.
