Abstract:National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's National Center for Statistics and Analysis (NCSA) recently completed a study of data on the causes of death for all persons, by age and sex, which occurred in the U. S. in 1994. The purpose of the study is to highlight motor vehicle crashes as a leading cause of death. The data on causes of death for 1994, the latest year for which these data are available, were obtained from the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS).
