Abstract:

The Clean Air Act Amendments (CAAA) of 1990 required emissions reductions in

nonattainment areas. The CAAA contains conformity provisions requiring

transportation plans and programs to conform to air quality plans. Based on the

documented analysis, the Fiscal Years 1997-2000 Transportation Improvement

Program of the Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments meets the

air quality conformity requirements. 16p.
