Abstract:

This Advisory Circular (AC) provides guidance to assist airport operators in preparing for water rescue operations. The material contained in this AC is applicable for use in the operation of civil airports where aeronautical activity is conducted near a significant body of water. Certificated airports may use these recommendations and guidelines to satisfy certain portions of the requirements of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Part 139, Section 139.325.
