• Abstract:
  This report documents the development of brake test equipment and procedures for heavy-duty transit coach brakes at the U.S. Department of Transportation's Transportation Systems Center. It presents a description of a heavy-duty dynamometer brake test apparatus and specifies proposed test procedures for an evaluation of brake shoe linings. Some preliminary experimental and analytical work is discussed.
