NTL-REFERENCES AND DIRECTORIES-REFERENCES AND DIRECTORIES
Abstract:
The feasibility of using the workshop/seminar technique as an effective communication tool for technology sharing was affirmed by the use of a national survey of potential users of Federal DOT Research and Development products. The survey encompassed on-site interviews at numerous government and academic organizations. A diversity of geographic, institutional, and professional perspectives was obtained. A total of over 100 transportation related areas of interest was refined to provide 10 workshop/seminar subject candidates. The survey results articulate state, local, and regional government transportation information needs and attitudes.
