Presidential Executive Order establishing a Federal Government-wide prohibition on the use of text messaging while driving on official business or while using Government-supplied equipment. This policy also extends to cover Federal contractors and contractor employees.
The Illinois Department of Transportation has, in the past, published its Rail program yearly, and its Rail plan as needs dictate. The department has combined both documents into one. This new document, as with those Programs and Plans that have preceded it, will present the major issues affecting rail freight and passenger service in the state.
