## Summary of Dataset

`The Emergency Life Saving through Multi-Modal Mobility (ELSa-M3) project will demonstrate the requirements for the use of emergency drone delivery to underserved communities in the southwestern region of Pennsylvania. ELSa-M3 proposes, through the development of a cost-effective and affordable public network, an innovative use of uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) to enhance emergency services logistics in the region through a public ground-based sensor network integrated with airspace management. ELSa-M3 will utilize advanced technology to improve emergency response time and improve resiliency by responding to emergency calls with drones delivering NARCAN (Opioid overdose), EpiPen (allergic shock), and AEDs (cardiac arrest). There are 6 subsequent datasets repreented within this collection, more information on each can be found in this project's data management plan`

## D. Methodological Information

**Description of methods used for collection/generation of data:** `SAP&DC collected the data contained within this collection using three primary methodologies to document various performance measures: A Paired case control data method, consisting of live flight tests where the dispatch of a drone delivery of emergency medical articles is paired with the dispatch of an ambulance response (e.g., intervention benefit) obtained from the CAD system. A - Population data method, where paired drone-ambulance interventions are compared to a data set on baseline ambulance interventions in the same service area (e.g., intervention benefit, cost benefit) and data are normalized to estimate potential performance gains; and a Descriptive data method, where cost and performance of equipment and sensors are collected and analyzed using descriptive statistics for reporting and comparison to external reference data sources and metrics (e.g., cost and performance metrics, community benefit).`

**Instrument or software-specific information needed to interpret the data:** `This data is primarily represented using the .csv, Comma Separated Value, file. .csv is a simple format that is designed for a database table and supported by many applications. The .csv file is often used for moving tabular data between two different computer programs, due to its open format. The most common software used to open .csv files are Microsoft Excel and RecordEditor. Other data is stored in .pdf format, which is designed to allow for a self-contained `
