Changing the Column Header Format
With CFS 2002, you can specify which column header format you want to display in your data tables. This should be done before opening the data file.
There are two types of column headers:
Long column headers - typically more descriptive of the data the column contains.
Data field names - duplicate the name of the database field in which the column's data is stored and typically contain capital letters only.
To change the column header format:
On the File menu, click Preferences. The Preferences dialog box appears.
To display shorter, less descriptive column headers, click to clear Format Data check box. To display longer, more descriptive column headers, click to select Format Data check box.
