Abstract:The purpose of this project is to develop for the Intelligent Network Flow Optimization (INFLO), which is one collection (or bundle) of high-priority transformative applications identified by the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Mobility Program for development in 2011, the following:
• Concept of Operations (ConOps)
• Functional requirements and corresponding performance requirements
• High-level data and communication needs
• Test readiness Assessment Document
This particular document is the Concept of Operations or “ConOps”. It is developed using the guidance in IEEE Standard 1362-1998, IEEE Guide for Information Technology – System Definition – Concept of Operations (ConOps) Document. The follow on functional and performance requirements will be developed following the guidance in IEEE Standard 1233-1998, IEEE Guide for Developing System Requirements Specifications. In addition, the project scope of work will identify and assess key technical and non-technical issues related to field-testing the INFLO bundle or its individual component applications.
